David Christopher Justice is an American former professional baseball outfielder and designated hitter who played 14 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for the Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians ,New York Yankees, and Oakland Athletics from 1989 to 2002.
After making his major league debut in 1989, Justice won the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 1990. He was an All-Star in 1993 and 1994, and was a member of the 1995 World Series champions. The Braves traded him to Cleveland after the 1996 season, and he was an All-Star in 1997. Traded to the Yankees at the 2000 trade deadline, Justice won the American League Championship Series MVP Award and the 2000 World Series. He finished his career with Oakland in 2002.
